Salaison Gerial SARL is established in Gimont en Gers since 1980. Gerial company established since 1980 in the rich region of supplies the most authentic Crafted Deli Cold Meat. The produced meat has a unic flavor and only the highest quality hams and ingredients are used in those recipes of the Southest of France.
In 2009 great addition of a large building – 430 square meters – specially built to receive a state of the art Cutting and Slicing machine.
Gerial Products are largely distributed in all supermarkets in the Southern Regions of France.
The famous recipe of the Jambon d’Auch was created in the work room at the back of the Pork store – Deli close to the Cathedral d’Auch.
This treasured delicious Jambon d’Auch was created because of the sudden inspiration and the talent of a master chef who associated a ancestral recipe to the supply of wonderful local fresh Hams. All the specific qualities still exists nowadays in Gerial Products.
Parisian Restaurant very selective in their choice of hams trust the constant quality of the Jambon d’Auch and would not serve anything else to their customers.
In 1992 a new generation runs the business.
The new owner Didier and Sergine Georges want to maintain the high standards transmitted to them from their family. They have a strong entrepreneurial spirit but always with respect for the classic way to produce the Jambon d’Auch – they will follow the moto : the best, the real, the only one Jambon D’Auch. They developed a “appellation d’origine” specifically for the origin and caracteristics of production of the Jambon d’Auch.
Pierre-Alexis and Aude Marie children of Didier and Sergine join in and brought all their effort in the family business. The Jambon d’Auch is now available packed by the slice or whole. The business is expanding as the Jambon d’Auch is now exported towards far countries, taking proudly with him the image of a great authentic product from the South West of France !
